If you are looking for a simple and effective curtain pole to furnish your door then this is it! The Cameron Fuller portiere rod is ideal for door curtains.

This wrought iron portiere rod can be fitted on either the right or left side of the door and the hinged bracket can be fixed to the wall or the door frame, whichever is more suitable. These portiere rods are 150cm long and can be cut down to size using a small hacksaw so you can ensure it is the right length for your door.

This is not a rising portiere rod, nonetheless it is more robust and easier to install and will provide an equally effective solution for hanging a door curtain.

As with all other Cameron Fuller wrought iron products there is choice of four finishes - black, bright pewter, bronze and graphite. This portiere rod is 19mm in diameter and comes with a sturdy wrought iron pivoting bracket, 150cm length of curtain pole (19mm in diameter), screws and a finial of your choice. Curtain rings not included but are available to purchase separately.

Portiere, almond November 14, 2014
Reviewer: jo from HUDDERSFIELD, Hertfordshire United Kingdom
Delivered very quickly & well packed.    It was an easy job to remove four or so inches from the arm with a junior hacksaw.
I was rather hesitant whether it would take the weight of a fairly heavy woven cotton bedspread/blanket and would liked to have seen a slightly longer bracket.     The arm did dip about an inch so I adjusted the bracket fixing to counteract this and also fixed a retainer stay at the end of the arm which keeps the arm supported when the door is closed  (I found something suitable in my odds & end box) and it worked well and looks fine.
Good draught excluder as it fits quite closely to the doorframe without the gaps at the top that a normal curtain often has.
Altogether quite pleased with the purchase.

I researched dormer & portiere rods quite extensively and found Curtain pole corner to be very competitive on price. The dormer rods are incredibly well made. The process from ordering online to delivery was swift. I am extremely happy with the service that has been provided. I would definitely recommend the product and this company.

Stylish and strong December 2, 2013
Reviewer: Melanie from Wiltshire, United Kingdom
A good, elegantly simple design with choice of finishes and finials. Good clearance for those doors situated close to a corner where there's limited space for drawn-back curtains. My only reservation: would benefit by inclusion of small optional props/supports to fit under far end of rod on either wall, to prevent sagging under heavy curtains; also, longer screws to insure wall-mounting can bear heavier weights, e.g. winter draughtproof-lined curtains. Otherwise an excellent product.
